Lots of Self Portraits.
I have done plenty of self-portraits in art school, 2019 in particular. At some point, It became a therapeutic habit I would do whenever I felt lost, as observing myself as a painter gives me a break from my ego.
The person in the mirror became completely objective. I see structures, textures or sentiments without judgment. Flaws I normally hate, under-eye bags, fears and shame... become beauty worth to depict simply for their existence.
